This Whole House Kitchen Bathroom Bratenahl, Ohio Project was for Karen and A.J. of Bratenahl purchased a condo in dire need of a complete gut and reconfiguration. Their new home is 2,200 square foot, two bedroom, two and a half baths with office, family room and kitchen. The entire unit was completely gutted including removal of most interior walls. There were several challenges working on this whole home renovation and kitchen remodel. The HOA only permitted working hours with power tools creating more than 90 decibels for a period of four hours at a time each day; all exterior and common walls, floors and ceilings were concrete. In order to accommodate the new design for the home, several hours of core drilling needed to be competed to reroute plumbing and electrical. The entire ceiling was lowered two inches to allow for the use of wafer LED recessed lighting. The bathrooms all had custom showers built and were tastefully tiled with a modern finish. All cabinetry was custom with quartz counters. Bedroom floors were carpet and all remaining floors (kitchen, office, halls and family room) were completed using three fourth an inch true hardwood planking which was glued in place. This whole home design build and kitchen remodel in Bratenahl took just over three months to complete despite the working hour restrictions.
