Mike and Lisa built their Olmsted Falls home in 1997. The home and neighborhood was a great place to raise their children. Now the children are grown and the family is growing with marriages. The once sufficient kitchen had become cramped when all family members visit at varied times of the year. Mike and Lisa enlisted the assistance of Remodel Me Today to design their new kitchen, including the removal of a load bearing wall containing heating and plumbing which ran to bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor above. The entire 1,500 square foot first floor was re-floored. After removal of old laminate flooring, it was discovered that a large area of the first floor had joist sagging issues which needed addressing before new LVP flooring could be installed. The cabinets were custom and the counters were quartz. Modern backsplash tiles with under cabinet lighting and diverse pendants were installed with an oversized island for prepping needs makes this kitchen extremely functional in contrast to what it was.
