This mid-90s colonial master bathroom remodel was designed to enhance the modern lifestyle of the homeowners. While once dominated by an oversized jetted tub that served as their children’s first “swimming pool,” the space no longer fit their current needs with the tub used just a few times a year.

To transform the room, Remodel Me Today completely gutted the bathroom and reimagined its layout, adding 40 square feet of usable space by reclaiming unused attic space above the garage. This allowed us to reposition the window—making room for an expansive custom cabinetry solution and a luxurious freestanding air tub with aromatherapy features.

The centerpiece of this remodel is the impressive 5’x6′ spa shower, tailored for two. Equipped with an 18-inch rain head, dual stationary shower heads, four body jets, and a handheld shower, it is the perfect replacement for a day at the spa. The crowning addition was a built-in steam shower, complete with multi-functional lighting and a sleek double-door entry—creating the ultimate home retreat.

Elegant tile accents in a picket style, combining glass and porcelain, were carefully chosen to deliver the timeless, classic look the clients desired while the custom cabinetry and thoughtful layout maximized both storage and style.
