This kitchen remodel focused on enhancing what was already there. The footprint remained unchanged, but everything else was refreshed. The new design centered around custom cabinetry—specifically timeless white shaker cabinets from Holiday Kitchens. The dishwasher was fitted with a cabinet panel, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the new design for a cohesive, built-in look.

Quartz countertops from MSI replaced the old laminate, offering a sleek, durable surface that’s easy to maintain. Paired with a white baroque tile backsplash, the new materials helped brighten the entire kitchen while coordinating beautifully with industrial-style stainless steel appliances.

One of the most impactful changes in this kitchen remodel was reworking the outdated vent hood system. Originally, the builder had vented through the inside of three wall cabinets—taking up valuable space. By re-routing the exhaust, our team was able to reclaim those cabinets, instantly improving storage. Combined with new 39-inch-tall wall cabinets (an upgrade from the old 33-inch ones), the custom cabinetry truly maximized every inch of vertical space.

Under-cabinet LED lighting was added for functionality and ambiance, with smart Bluetooth controls giving Heather flexibility at her fingertips. These subtle touches made a big difference, bringing the kitchen into the modern age without sacrificing warmth or character.
