The Kitchen Remodel Rocky River, Ohio Project – Upon meeting client, it quickly became apparent that she was an avid baker and chef. Her and her husband had been living in this 1960’s Rocky River bungalow with a kitchen, which was less than 100 square feet in size. The prior owner had a 100 square foot addition added to the rear of the kitchen separated by a load-bearing wall. We went in and removed the load-bearing wall and placed a flush mount beam in the ceiling transferring the load to the foundation walls. The cabinetry is a white shaker paint to compliment the homes style. Cambria counters give the client a perfect temperature counter for rolling all of her dough during baking time. New Samsung appliances, a custom tile and metal backsplash with a vent hood flanked by two cabinets with doors prepped for glass and accent lighting inside. Under cabinet lighting and a flat ceiling that was turned into a vaulted ceiling with a beautiful pendant for added charm and functionality.
