This Kitchen Remodel, Olmsted Falls, Ohio Project was done for a Client lived in home with original dated kitchen, 15 year old appliances, thermafoil cabinets which were pealing and had failing hinges with laminate counters and undersized wall oven which couldn’t even fit a standard cookie sheet. Client was looking for updated look with functionality and contrast. After removing all cabinets and flooring we installed new engineered hardwood flooring, ran wiring for low voltage under and in cabinet lighting, water line for pot filler faucet and relocated gas and electric lines for the new location of the stove. Wall cabinets went from 39” to 56”; this combined with the lowering of the half wall behind the sink to accommodate 12” deep base cabinets at the rear of the wall provided ample storage for the client. We also added toe kick drawers, a drawer microwave, USB charging station and in cabinet mixer lift for added functionality. Custom cabinetry and Cambria counter choices were done so with contrasting colors in mind and a walnut wood counter accent, sealed with epoxy, above the sink. Coffee and wine bar area to the rear of the kitchen area also fill a much-needed niche for the client without having countertop items on display for anyone who enters. Client was extremely pleased with the outcome of the project as we are already working on new stair railings and trim for them.
