The new layout centered around a large eat-in island, topped with a warm butcher block countertop. The island not only adds generous prep space and casual seating, but also fosters better flow and connectivity throughout the kitchen. Above the island, we installed pendant lighting to complement the updated recessed ceiling lights, ensuring both ambiance and utility.

To brighten the space and make it feel more expansive, we installed white semi-custom cabinetry with soft-close doors and drawers. This custom cabinetry was tailored specifically to the family’s storage needs and design preferences, balancing beauty with practicality. The choice of white cabinets also helped reflect light throughout the room, further enhancing the sense of openness.

The kitchen renovation also included new engineered Acacia hardwood flooring, chosen for its rich tones and natural texture. A sliding patio door was added to improve outdoor access and introduce even more natural light, further softening and expanding the space.
