This project was for Mary M in Berea Ohio. It was a home addition Berea Ohio project which consisted of removing an existing screened porch and demo of an existing garage and carport. These were replaced with a new bonus sun-room with laundry facilities to allow homeowner a first floor laundry. Additionally, we placed a breezeway between the new two car garage to allow Mary to exit to her vehicle without having to deal with any weather issues. During the construction of the addition it was discovered that the existing roof on the home was in poor condition. Mary asked us to add the roof to her project as well. The last item of business was siding the entire house once the addition was complete and installation of new seamless gutters with gutter guards. Since the completion of the addition Mary has had us back to install a whole house generator system.
Remodel Me Today was a dream come true to work with.
They explained all of the steps in the process and the time frame for completion and
kept to those times weather permitting and even worked when the weather was
less than ideal. They even dug my car out of the snow drift so that they were able to get their work trailer into the yard to work on a very snowy day.
The whole team was very polite and professional and always cleaned up and were careful to watch so as not to disturb the neighbors’ property in the entire process.
I picked this company over the other four companies for many reasons:
1. There bid process was very complete and even included drawings or renderings of what the finished product would look like.
2. They included extras in the process that no other company considered i. e. siding of the entire house and taking the tile flooring into the old part of the kitchen so that it all looked new.
3. There bid was second lowest but included more than the most expensive bid!
4. They were helpful in letting me know of things that I might want to consider adding while in the process that would keep the cost of them lower than if I waited and then went back and did them after the fact( i. e. , the new roof and additional insulation , since to all of our surprise we found the house had NO insulation.
By the time the project was finished I felt like they were family and I even invited them to attend the party I threw for my family and friends to show off the new addition!
